LMFT, 13 years of experience
When we lose a part of ourselves or the life we once envisioned, it can feel as though our world is falling apart. And in some ways, it is. Yet these moments can also mark the beginning of a new journey, one that leads us closer to the heart of who we are. In a safe space built on respect, compassion, and unconditional positive regard, you are invited to begin. Start anywhere, even if it feels uncertain or unsteady. Over time, awareness and confidence grow, guiding you toward your most authentic self and the life you truly want to create.
In our first session together, we’ll start with brief introductions and give you space to share what feels most important right now. We’ll move at your pace, focusing on the concerns you’d like to explore and what you hope to gain from therapy. From there, we’ll begin building a supportive path forward, one that feels meaningful and aligned with your needs.
I specialize in working with a diverse population and create a safe, compassionate space where clients feel deeply heard and understood. My approach is rooted in Client-Centered therapy, where empathic listening and unconditional positive regard help clients process unresolved trauma and begin to heal. I believe in empowering clients to discover their inner strengths and explore vulnerability as a path to greater self-awareness and growth. In my work, I integrate inner-child therapy informed by Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS), along with psychodynamic and gestalt approaches, guided imagery, mindfulness, and art therapy. These tools allow me to tailor sessions to each client’s unique needs. I support individuals navigating grief, depression, anxiety, loss, shame, self-esteem issues, complex PTSD, childhood trauma, stress, emotional dysregulation, abandonment, and relationship challenges. My goal is to help clients gain new perspectives, strengthen self-empowerment, and move toward a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.
I am best positioned to serve clients who are navigating life transitions, healing from trauma, managing anxiety or depression, or seeking to reconnect with their authentic selves and build resilience, self-awareness, and emotional empowerment.
Working with diverse population I have fostered a therapeutic relationship with my clients with the lens of Client Centered approach through empathic listening, and providing a compassionate safe space to process the unresolved trauma, which became the essential predictor of their success. I believe in empowering my clients to discover their strengths through mirroring unconditional positive regard, allowing clients to explore their vulnerability to understand themselves better.
I also aim to help clients access new perspectives that can help them improve their perception of themselves and their potential for achieving their future goals. I am skilled in inner-child therapy, stemming from (EFT) emotional-focused therapy and Internal Family System.

Misha is a wonderful therapist who discerns the challenging emotions and points me in the right direction for healing and wholeness. I always feel safe and cared for in her good hands. She is a treasure and I appreciate her insights more than words can say. She helped me through several dark years navigating breast cancer and reconstruction which included working through inner child issues as well as self-esteem and image issues.
