When we’ve lost a part of ourselves, a life we had created or envisioned, our world can feel as if it’s falling apart, even ending. And in a way, it is. But maybe this is also part of our journey, the road that takes us to the heart of it. When provided with a safe environment where respect, compassion and unconditional positive regard are offered, we have a chance to set out on our path. The invitation, as always, is to start. Start anywhere, no matter how unsure and unsteady. But start somewhere. In time we grow more aware and self-assured as we make our way toward our most authentic self, our most authentic life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Working with a diverse population, I fostered a therapeutic relationship with my clients through the lens of a Client-Centered approach through empathic listening and providing a compassionate safe space to process the unresolved trauma, which became the essential predictor of their success. I believe in empowering my clients to discover their strengths through mirroring unconditional positive regard, allowing clients to explore their vulnerability to understand themselves better. I also aim to help clients access new perspectives that can help them improve their perception of themselves and their potential for achieving their future goals. I am skilled in inner-child therapy, stemming from (EFT) emotional-focused therapy and the Internal Family System. I utilize psychodynamic and gestalt modalities, guided imagery, mindfulness, art therapy and work with grief, depression, anxiety, loss, shame, self-esteem issues, complex PTSD, childhood trauma, stress management, emotional dysregulation, self-empowerment, abandonment issues, and relationship struggles.

Misha is a wonderful therapist who discerns the challenging emotions and points me in the right direction for healing and wholeness. I always feel safe and cared for in her good hands. She is a treasure and I appreciate her insights more than words can say. She helped me through several dark years navigating breast cancer and reconstruction which included working through inner child issues as well as self-esteem and image issues.
