Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During your first session with me, you can expect a welcoming and confidential environment where we'll begin to understand your unique needs and goals. This initial session is primarily focused on assessment and building a foundation for our therapeutic relationship. We will also create a plan for moving forward that feels right for you. You'll have ample opportunity to ask questions and share any thoughts or feelings you have throughout the process.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner is my ability to integrate a comprehensive understanding of both mental and physical health with a compassionate and patient-centered approach. Clients often find my communication style to be clear and empathetic, fostering a strong therapeutic alliance built on trust and mutual respect. Furthermore, my background as a Family Nurse Practitioner provides a unique perspective, allowing me to consider the physical well-being of each individual and collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with individuals that are ready to embark on their journey to well-being. They are eager to understand their conditions and are open to exploring different perspectives and options.

Ericka was extremely helpful and easy to speak with. She's an excellent listener who takes time to understand your past experiences and current goals. She asked what has worked for me before and what hasn't, showing she truly cares about finding the right approach. I'm grateful she was so open to working with me. She created a trusting environment and will be a valuable resource. Highly recommend!
