New to Grow
Hello! I'm glad you're here. I know reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, and I'm committed to creating a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and heard from the very beginning. I specialize in helping women who are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, overthinking, emotional burnout, low self-esteem, and challenges with setting healthy boundaries. If you're feeling overwhelmed, constantly putting others first, or struggling to find balance, you're not alone. Together, we'll work toward helping you feel more confident, connected, and in control of your life. My approach is person-centered, meaning I believe you are the expert on your own experiences. I see therapy as a partnership where we work together to identify your goals, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools that support lasting change. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can openly explore your thoughts and feelings at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you're looking to reduce stress, improve your relationships, strengthen your confidence, or practice healthier self-care habits, I'm here to support you every step of the way.
Our first session is all about getting to know one another. There is no pressure to jump into difficult topics unless you're ready. We'll spend time talking about what brings you to therapy, what you hope to accomplish, and any questions or concerns you may have about the process. We'll also review confidentiality and what you can expect moving forward so you feel informed and comfortable. My priority is creating an environment where you feel safe, respected, and in control. We will always move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
I believe therapy works best when it feels like a true partnership. I tailor each session to your unique needs and goals rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) along with a person-centered approach to help you better understand patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we'll identify practical strategies that you can use both during and outside of our sessions to create meaningful, lasting change. Throughout our work together, you can expect compassion, collaboration, and steady support as you build the life you want.
I work best with women who are experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, emotional burnout, overthinking, low self-esteem, or difficulties with boundaries and self-care. Whether you are facing a recent challenge or have been carrying these struggles for years, I strive to provide a welcoming space where you can feel understood, develop practical coping skills, and make meaningful progress toward your goals.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Sometimes, the way we interpret a situation can make us feel stuck, anxious, or overwhelmed—even when we are doing our absolute best. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a gentle, collaborative tool that helps us explore the invisible connections between our thoughts, our feelings, and our actions. Together, we can slowly look at the repetitive stories or patterns our minds tell us, kindly check if they are serving us, and practice small, daily shifts to help you feel more grounded, resilient, and at peace. You don't have to change everything overnight; we will take it one gentle step at a time.
Gestalt
In our sessions, we aren’t just going to talk about your past or analyze your problems from a distance. We are going to focus on the 'here and now'—what you are thinking, feeling, and physically experiencing in this exact moment. Together, we will safely explore the different parts of yourself, bring hidden emotions to life, and work through unresolved past experiences that are weighing you down today. By becoming fully aware of your present self, you can stop feeling fragmented, accept who you are, and discover your own natural capacity to heal and grow.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
Instead of spending your energy fighting, changing, or running away from difficult thoughts and painful feelings, ACT invites you to make room for them. In our sessions, we will practice accepting the uncomfortable parts of your inner world without letting them control you. We will work on anchoring yourself in the present moment, viewing your thoughts as just words rather than absolute truths, and getting crystal clear on what truly matters to you. By changing your relationship with your struggles, you can stop feeling stuck and start taking purposeful, daily actions that align with the kind of life you actually want to live.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
In our work together, we aren't going to spend a lot of time analyzing your past problems, diagnosing what is wrong, or digging into old wounds. Instead, we are going to focus entirely on your strengths, your resources, and your future. We will explore what your life looks like when things are going well, clarify your specific goals, and look for the small steps you are already taking to get there. You already have the resilience and the tools inside you to build a better tomorrow; our job is simply to discover them, map them out, and amplify them so you can move forward quickly.
Humanistic
In this space, you are the true expert on your own life. My role is not to analyze you, judge you, or tell you how to fix your problems, but to walk alongside you with total acceptance and empathy. We will focus on your unique experience of the world right now, helping you connect with your true self and your inner wisdom. You already possess the natural capacity to heal, grow, and fulfill your potential; together, we will create a safe, warm environment where you can freely explore who you are and choose who you want to become.
