Welcome — I’m so glad you’re here! My name is Ester Raha, and I’m a licensed therapist with 12 years of experience in the mental health field, including the past 7 years as a practicing therapist. My journey in this profession has been shaped by both my personal experiences as a female veteran and mother, a trauma survivor, and my passion for supporting others through life’s challenges.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, I’ll conduct an initial assessment to get to know you better. This includes asking questions about your background, current concerns, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. The goal is to create a clear understanding of your needs so we can begin building a personalized plan that supports your healing and growth. This session is also a chance for you to ask questions and get a feel for how we’ll work together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is built on trust, openness, and genuine connection. I strive to be open-minded, compassionate, and non-judgmental in every session. My approach is active and engaging — I don’t just listen and nod. I ask thoughtful questions, offer supportive, thoughtful feedback to help guide your progress, and work collaboratively to help you move toward the life you want. Wherever you are in your journey, you don’t have to go it alone — I’m here to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

As a military veteran, I hold a deep respect for the unique experiences and sacrifices of fellow service members. It’s an honor to walk alongside other veterans as they navigate the path to healing and growth. I also bring my perspective as a mother to the therapeutic space, and I’m especially committed to supporting women as they face the complex and deeply personal issues related to fertility, pregnancy, and motherhood.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients recognize how their thoughts influence their emotions, behaviors, and relationships. Often, unhelpful thinking patterns can go unnoticed—but they shape how we see ourselves and interact with others. In our work together, we’ll identify these patterns and explore how they may be holding you back. I take a collaborative approach, asking thoughtful questions and offering feedback to help you reflect, challenge old beliefs, and build healthier ways of thinking.
