(she/her)
Hi, I’m Morgan Whiteman. I’m a therapist, a mom to two amazing daughters, and a proud dog owner living in beautiful Colorado with my husband. I genuinely love what I do—because I believe everyone deserves a safe space to feel heard, supported, and understood. Life can be a lot. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, sitting with grief, or working through tough relationship dynamics, you're not alone. With over six years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I’m here to help you make sense of it all. Together, we’ll explore what’s weighing you down and build tools to help you move forward—one step at a time, with clarity and confidence.
Our first session is really a chance to get to know each other. I want to learn about what’s bringing you in, what’s been weighing on you, and what changes you hope to see. There’s no pressure to have it all figured out—we’ll start where you are. My approach is rooted in empathy and grounded in evidence-based practices. I draw from motivational interviewing, solution-focused strategies, and relational work to help you better understand your thoughts, behaviors, and patterns. Together, we’ll begin identifying tools and insights to help you feel more balanced and capable of making meaningful change. If you’re coming in as a couple, we’ll focus on strengthening communication, resolving conflict, and rebuilding trust—laying the groundwork for a stronger, more connected relationship.
Clients often tell me they appreciate how engaged and present I am in our sessions. I’m not afraid to ask the tough questions or gently challenge thought patterns, while also making sure you feel truly heard and validated. My goal is to support you in navigating your needs with professionalism, compassion, and respect. One of the most rewarding parts of this work is seeing clients grow in confidence, self-esteem, and their ability to problem-solve. Together, we’ll build practical tools to help you cope with life’s challenges—so you can move forward with clarity and resilience.
I work best with individuals who are ready to explore what’s going on beneath the surface—whether that’s anxiety, stress, grief, relationship challenges, or difficulty adjusting to a new phase of life. My ideal clients are curious about themselves, open to self-reflection (even if it feels uncomfortable at times), and willing to try new tools and perspectives. You might be feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply unsure of your next step. You don’t need to have all the answers—that’s what we’ll work on together. I especially enjoy working with young adults, adults, and older adults who are navigating change, wrestling with self-doubt, or simply looking to grow in self-awareness and confidence.

Having a background in physical health allows me to have a unique perspective of the importance of the mind-body connection. Using this technique will allow you to guide our sessions based on your needs listening both to your mind and body.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
This method has allowed my clients to feel in control over their next steps, goals, ambitions, needs and wants. We break down what is happening right now and brainstorm micro changes or SMART goals.
Grief Therapy
Grief shows up in so many ways throughout our life, including day-to-day and minute-to-minute. Education and validation with grief will help maintain a better understanding of your thoughts and feelings in the moment.

Couples counseling can be tricky because both sides going in feeling both right... and attacked. So we're looking to be vindicated... and also afraid we're going to get skewered. One session in, Morgan left neither of us feeling either completely right or completely attacked. Seems to be as fair a starting point as we can ask for. Excited to see where this goes.

I am thrilled to work with such an amazing provider, I have a lot of feelings to navigate in the future/past and this first session made me feel like I did not have to do it alone. I have a trusted advocate who wants to support my growth and support my development in all regards.
