Hi, I’m Dr. Christopher Rambaran. I’ve been practicing family and emergency medicine here in New Jersey for the past nine years. I earned both my Master’s and Doctor of Nursing Practice degrees from Rutgers University. Today, my passion lies in helping young adults navigate career stress and burnout so they can grow into the best version of themselves. I take a holistic approach to care—combining both prescription and non-medicinal therapies—to create personalized, compassionate treatment plans that address the whole person, not just their symptoms.
In our first session, we’ll start with a brief introduction and get to know each other. From there, we’ll explore the specific challenges you’re facing so I can begin building a personalized plan to guide our work in future sessions.
Over the years, I’ve helped many individuals feel more confident, grounded, and in control of their lives. I’ve developed a proven approach to help you (a) uncover the root causes of your challenges and (b) create a personalized plan that leads to real, measurable progress.
I enjoy working with young professionals in the early stages of their careers. Many of my clients are driven and motivated to grow, but they often lack the tools and support needed to turn that ambition into real progress. They frequently feel stuck, overwhelmed, and anxious about their career paths. I also have a special focus on supporting young adults who are navigating emotional challenges that impact their well-being and sense of purpose.
Other specialties
I identify as
Compassion Focused
I find CBT to be especially effective because of its structured, goal-oriented nature and its emphasis on measurable outcomes. I adapt the model to meet each client’s unique needs and integrate it with other evidence-based approaches when clinically appropriate.
Psychodynamic
I use Psychodynamic therapy to help patients understand how unconscious thoughts and past experiences influence their current behavior and emotions, allowing them to gain insight and resolve internal conflicts.
