Annie Beagley
I know what it feels like to sit with someone in crisis — and I know what it feels like to be that person. After twelve years in crisis work and my own journey through hard things, I bring both training and lived humanity into the room. I specialize in working with trauma survivors and women navigating life transitions — people who have carried too much alone. You can come as you are. The scared part, the strong part, all of it is welcome here. I help clients process what they've been carrying and find their footing again. If you're a survivor ready to stop surviving and start living, this is a space built for you. Reaching out is the hardest part. If you're reading this and something resonated — even a little — that matters. You don't have to be in crisis to deserve support. You just have to be tired of carrying it alone. I'd be honored to take that first step with you. I know what it feels like to sit with someone in crisis — and I know what it feels like to be that person. After twelve years in crisis work and my own journey through hard things, I bring both training and lived humanity into the room. I specialize in trauma recovery and life transitions, working primarily with survivors and women navigating change — people who have carried too much alone. My approach draws on CBT Cognitive Behavior Therapy , DBT Dialectical Behavior Therapy, MRT Moral Recognition Therapy , ART Accelerated Resolution Therapy , ACT Acceptance and Committment Therapy, EMDR, and IFS Internal Family Systems, chosen and blended to fit what you actually need, not a one-size-fits-all protocol.
First session
Your first session is about getting oriented, not getting fixed. We'll talk about what brought you in, what's felt hardest lately, and what you're hoping is different on the other side of this work. I'll ask questions — some practical, some deeper — but you set the pace. There's no script you have to follow and nothing you need to have figured out before you walk in. My goal in that first hour is simple: for you to leave feeling heard, and for us to start building a shared sense of where we're headed. You can come as you are. The scared part, the strong part, all of it is welcome here. If you're a survivor ready to stop surviving and start living, this is a space built for you.
Strengths
I bring twelve years of crisis intervention experience, which means I'm steady in the room even when things feel like too much — I've sat with people at their hardest moments and I don't flinch from hard things. I also bring lived experience, which shapes how I show up: not as someone observing from the outside, but as someone who understands the weight of what you're carrying because I've carried it too. Clinically, I move fluidly between modalities — CBT, DBT, MRT, ART, ACT, EMDR, and IFS — so our work can flex to what you need session to session, rather than forcing your experience into one framework. And because of my crisis background, I'm comfortable holding intensity: if things get hard in session, I won't rush you past it or shut it down. Reaching out is the hardest part. If you're reading this and something resonated — even a little — that matters. You don't have to be in crisis to deserve support. You just have to be tired of carrying it alone. I'd be honored to take that first step with you.
Ideal clients
My dream client is a survivor who's ready to stop just getting through the day and start actually living — someone who's done the surface-level fixes and is ready for the deeper work. She might be a woman in the middle of a life transition — divorce, an empty nest, a career shift, a relationship ending — who's realizing the old coping strategies aren't cutting it anymore. She's likely spent years being the strong one, the one everyone else leans on, and she's quietly exhausted from carrying it alone. She doesn't need to have the words for what happened to her yet. She just knows something's not right, and she's tired of pretending it is. She's willing to sit in discomfort if it means finally putting something down. And she wants a therapist who won't flinch when things get heavy — because I won't.
