Hello, I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) based in Arizona. I received my Masters from Northcentral University and have been practicing for 6 years. I have worked with a wide variety of clients from children to the elderly throughout my career, with a lot of work being with clients who are managing through family and relationship conflicts, anxiety, depression, and mood disorders.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Clients can expect a clinician who will walk beside them with curiosity that challenges them to examine their perspective and reframe it to create a healthier version of themselves. In our first session we will discuss current responsibilities, stressors, and positive aspects, then address what the client wants to increase or decrease to create a treatment plan together.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

In the span of over a decade I have been able to become a multi-faceted mental health professional, working in a wide variety of settings from in the home to in the hospital setting. I have been able to hold a variety of roles from a client's advocate to a case manager and finally a therapist.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I hold a systemic point of view and approach, strongly believing that we are influenced by our experiences as well as actions that have been normalized for us. I hold the perspective that there is no expert on you besides yourself; we are all our own agents of change. I utilize cognitive behavioral techniques to help clients pause, examine, and reframe their thoughts and reactions towards others.

EMDR

I have been trained in EMDR since 2022 and enjoy coming along side clients to assist them in desensitizing and reprocessing trauma that their brain and body have built up walls of protection to shut out.
