New to Grow
I have been working with and supporting children, teens, and adults for twenty-seven years through various methods, including child therapy and individual therapy. I enjoy helping others conquer anxiety and depressive symptoms, and I focus on coaching them to better understand their choices and behaviors. When we find our inner authentic self and begin to find the courage to share that truth, we start to balance our lives through family therapy, where we truly discover our strength.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session is about getting to know each other, gathering enough information to help me see the bigger picture of what you are looking for and struggling with. If the client is a child, then the parent (s) are strongly encouraged to join the first session to help me better understand your child. For ongoing sessions, I still welcome a combination of feedback from the parents and enough privacy for the child to become comfortable with me.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My prior clients and staff have shared that I can present as warm and welcoming, I also seem to have a gift for phrasing an idea in a different way that helps others see it more clearly.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
If you are tired of feeling frustrated, irritable, anxious or depressed and nothing seems to help get you moving then we can collaborate and find some tools to help you. The clients who have shared feeling the most progress are people who are open to new ideas and willing to try new ideas. We can work together to figure out a path to growth and healing.
Eclectic
I use a wide range of treatment methods including CBT, Narrative, Mindfulness, and Humanistic. These modalities allow me to tailor fit the tools used to the specific needs of the individual I am working with.
