I'm so glad you stopped by! If you are experiencing overwhelming challenges, you are certainly not alone. I enjoy working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, or post-traumatic stress. Many of my clients are women who have experienced abuse or relationship troubles. I also work with healthcare providers who are experiencing stress. You deserve to have the help and support you need to feel better and let go of whatever is holding you back. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of South Florida. I have a great deal of experience treating depression, anxiety, and trauma using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and EMDR. I look forward to hearing from you!
The first session is a time for me to get to know you, get some history, and find out what you are looking for in therapy. It is also a good time to start talking about your strengths and abilities, which is a very important part of who you are. Most clients end their first session feeling more hopeful than when they started.
I feel that my greatest strengths are putting clients at ease and creating a safe, nonjudgmental space. This is so important because it forms the foundation for working on whatever you want to work on.
I work with adults who are struggling to move forward in their lives due to trauma, relationship problems, anxiety and depression.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a great way to examine how your thinking and behavior affect the quality of your life and your mood. Learning to take control of your thoughts can have a huge impact on your life.
EMDR
EMDR is a powerful tool for the treatment of traumatic memories. I use EMDR in situations where I feel it would be helpful, and I have seen clients make great progress.

This was my first session with her, so it was more of a meet and greet. First impressions were that I made another appointment with her.
