New to Grow
If you're feeling weighed down by a difficult life transition, anxiety, or just not feeling like yourself, I'm here to support you. I believe each person has strengths we can focus on to get through even the hardest seasons. As scary as it can feel to start therapy, you don't have to go through this alone. Together we will set goals tailored to what you're facing, using mindfulness, cognitive reframing, and self compassion practices to help you move through this rather than be defined by it.
In our first session, my hope is for us to get to know one another. Together, we will explore what brings you to therapy and begin to set goals for your care. Come as you are!
I offer a collaborative approach to therapy using a variety of approaches depending on your needs such as CBT, narrative therapy, and solution focused work. My practice supports individuals in making meaning of their life experiences and living a life that aligns with their values. Each session is tailored to your unique goals.
I most commonly work with adolescents, young adults, and adults. My style is down to earth and conversational, built on active listening and genuine concern. I create a safe space where you can show up authentically. Together we will set goals that reflect what matters most to you. We'll check in regularly on what you're working on and adjust as needed so your goals stay aligned with where you are and where you'd like to be.
Narrative therapy is based on the idea that we make meaning of our lives through the stories we tell about ourselves. Together, we will separate you from the problem so you can look at it instead of feeling defined by it. My role isn't to create a new narrative for you, but to support you in authoring one that aligns with your values, emotions, and the life you aspire to live.
I also incorporate CBT alongside narrative therapy to help you notice thought patterns that impact how you feel and act.
