Hello, my name is Elahe and I am a multi-cultural therapist and specialist in trauma and offer therapy to support adults with depression, anxiety, interpersonal relationship issues, transitions in life and healing from trauma. I include psychoeducation, coping skills, and development of mood monitoring/noticing patterns/triggers to support clients in achieving thier health goals. In our first session we will go through some friendly introductions, go over orientation of therapy, get clear on what you want to work on in therapy along with gathering some history to develop a great treatment plan to meet your goals.
I engage in various modalities that include cognitive behavior therapy, psychodynamic therapy, parts therapy, trauma therapy and client centered therapy. I also incorporate a lot of psychoeducation in my therapy and mindfulness/relaxation practices to give you tools to manage emotions better.
My biggest strengths are the ability to see strengths in others, to identify patterns that are holding you back and skills/tools to relate to yourself with compassion, knowledge and body/mind skills to create a better life for yourself.
