Welcome! I’m a licensed professional counselor with over 15 years of experience, supporting children, adolescence, adults, and older adults through life’s challenges. I believe every person has unique strength, and the capacity to grow, heal, and find Hope. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, using evidence-based therapies and, when desired, Christian counseling to help you build capacity, experience, lasting change, and develop healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During your first session, my main priority is simply getting to know you. I want to hear your story, understand what has brought you to counseling, and learn where you are today, as well as what you hope will be different moving forward. Together, we will begin identifying your strengths, discussing your goals, and creating a plan that feels meaningful and tailored to your needs. My hope is that you’ll leave your first session feeling heard, understood, and encouraged that you don’t have to navigate this journey alone.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What sets my approach apart is my commitment to helping you build the capacity to thrive-not just cope. While we’ll work together through the challenges that brought you to counseling, we’ll also identify your strengths, develop practical tools, and build the resilience needed to navigate future obstacles with confidence. My hope is that, over time, you’ll rely less on therapy and more on the skills, insight, and hope you’ve developed along the way.

My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

In my practice, I use Christian counseling by integrating the timeless, truth of Scripture into the therapeutic process alongside evidence-based clinical approaches. Together, we apply biblical principles to life’s challenges, allowing God‘s word to provide wisdom, direction, and a firm foundation for healing and growth rather than relying solely on changing emotions or circumstances, counseling is anchored in truth that equips you to renew your mind, strengthen your faith, and move forward with confidence and hope.

Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Suicide Prevention (CBT-SP)

In my practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify unhelpful patterns of thinking that may be contributing to emotional distress or keeping them stuck. Together, we examine how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected, develop, healthier, perspectives, and build practical skills that support lasting change. CBT is a collaborative, evidence-based approach that empowers clients to respond to life’s challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and resilience.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

In my practice, I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to help clients identify their strengths, build on what is already working, and create meaningful, achievable goals. Rather than focusing solely on problems, we work together to uncover practical solutions and small, intentional steps that lead to lasting progress. This strengths-based, collaborative approach, empowers clients to recognize their resilience, gain confidence, and create positive change in their daily lives.
