Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

The purpose of the first session is is to meet and discuss current issues, presenting symptoms and history so that the therapist can get an accurate assessment. Once there's an accurate assessment, the therapist and client can discuss treatment options.I always check in at the end of the first session to make sure the client is comfortable moving forward and answering any questions.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT can help you identify patterns in your life that may be causing you to struggle. It's an effective treatment intervention for anxiety and depression.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT is helpful in managing uncomfortable thoughts and feelings, increasing mindfulness, and accepting vs. Flfighting internal experiences .

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

DBT focuses on 4 key concepts, mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. DBT skills can help clients better cope in the moment, be more effective in their relationships, increase awareness of emotions, and increase ability to self regulate.
