The decision to begin therapy can be a difficult one, what's a right therapist and hard work the benefits can be endless. I strive to create an environment where clients feel safe and comfortable to share, learn, and grow.
The purpose of the first session is is to meet and discuss current issues, presenting symptoms and history so that the therapist can get an accurate assessment. Once there's an accurate assessment, the therapist and client can discuss treatment options.I always check in at the end of the first session to make sure the client is comfortable moving forward and answering any questions.
