Hi, I’m Audra Glunt, board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner. I help adults who have struggled with traditional medications, side effects, or limited results. Using my 'test don’t guess' approach with pharmacogenetic testing, functional labs, and targeted supplements, we uncover why past treatments failed and build a plan that works faster with fewer side effects. I support you in getting unstuck, reducing sadness and mood issues, and living authentically toward your personal goals — often with minimal medication. Patients say they finally feel heard and genuinely cared for in a warm, approachable setting. As a Doctor of Nursing Practice with nearly 20 years of experience, I bring deep expertise to your care.
In our initial session, you'll share what's going on—your symptoms, past medications, side effects, and goals. I'll listen carefully so you feel truly heard. We'll review your history and use a "test don’t guess" approach. This may include discussing pharmacogenetic testing, functional labs, or supplements to find what works better with fewer side effects. We'll also introduce simple mindfulness tools to help manage stress and thoughts right away. Together, we'll create a clear, practical plan focused on reducing sadness and mood issues, getting you unstuck, and moving toward living your authentic life — often with minimal medication. You'll leave with straightforward next steps and a collaborative path forward.
What stands out is my clear, honest patient education—you’ll always understand your options, realistic expectations, and possible side effects so you feel confident in the plan. We work as a team: I listen closely to your concerns and goals, then focus on practical steps including medication management (adjustments, starting, or safely reducing), targeted supplements for mood and energy, and simple mindfulness tools for stress and thoughts. Clients often say they finally feel heard and see real progress: steadier mood, less worry, better sleep, and more consistent energy.
I am best positioned to serve adult clients who have struggled with traditional psychiatric medications, experienced side effects, or achieved limited success with them. These individuals often seek a more integrative and holistic approach to mental health care. This may include genetic testing for medication compatibility, functional medicine testing, targeted supplements, and nutritional strategies designed to support mental well-being and overall health.
Integrative
I help adults experiencing anxiety, depression/mood disorder and other mental health issues decrease their negative/worrisome thoughts, increase their ability to make choices based on their values and life goals so they can live life to their maximum level of wellness. I do this by partnering with my patients to create a holistic wellness plan that incorporates: supplements and dietary recommendations (specifically keto/carnivore), mindfulness activities, lifestyle modifications, mental health medication management (including de-prescribing).
