New to Grow
I am a compassionate and collaborative therapist who values creating a safe, supportive space for clients to explore their experiences with honesty and curiosity. As a bilingual Latina therapist, I bring an understanding of cultural identity, family systems, and generational influences into the therapeutic process. My approach is trauma-informed and integrative, drawing from evidence-based practices while honoring each person’s unique story and strengths. I believe meaningful change begins with feeling understood, respected, and empowered within a strong therapeutic relationship.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session focuses on beginning the therapeutic work in a thoughtful and collaborative way. We’ll clarify your priorities, identify initial areas of focus, and outline a direction that aligns with your goals. This is also a space for you to share what feels most important to address now, while we move at a pace that feels safe and supportive.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
Clients are at the heart of the work, and I prioritize creating a space where they feel safe, comfortable, and respected. I strive to build a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in trust and collaboration. By balancing practical tools with deeper exploration, therapy can feel both supportive and meaningful at a pace that honors each individual’s readiness.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am best positioned to support individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I work with high-functioning adults who may feel overwhelmed internally despite appearing capable on the outside. As a Latina therapist, I value culturally responsive care and often support clients from diverse and multicultural backgrounds, including those exploring identity, family dynamics, and generational patterns. I also work with survivors of relational trauma who are seeking healing, stronger boundaries, and a deeper sense of self.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques are used to help clients gain insight into how their thoughts influence emotions and behaviors. This structured, goal-oriented approach emphasizes practical tools and skill-building to support lasting change. Interventions are tailored to each client’s specific concerns and treatment goals.
EMDR
I use EMDR as a structured, evidence-informed approach to help clients process unresolved or traumatic experiences. Through guided recall and bilateral stimulation, clients are supported in reducing the distress associated with difficult memories. EMDR is offered at an appropriate pace and integrated within a comprehensive, individualized treatment plan.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I incorporate mindfulness-based techniques to help clients build present-moment awareness and emotional regulation. This may include brief guided meditations, body scans, grounding exercises, and mindful breathing practices. I tailor these interventions to each client’s goals and readiness, integrating them within a broader treatment approach
Attachment-based
Explores how early relationship experiences influence current patterns in relationships, emotional regulation, and self-perception. This approach supports clients in developing greater insight, security, and healthier relational dynamics within and outside of therapy.
Somatic
Focuses on the mind-body connection, helping individuals recognize and process how stress and emotions are experienced in the nervous system. This work supports increased awareness and regulation through gentle, body-based interventions.
