LICSW, 3 years of experience
Hello, I am a Licensed Clinical Social worker based in Wisconsin. I am able to work with clients in Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan, and Colorado. I received my Masters from Aurora University and draw from 20 years of experience working in a variety of roles. I work with older teens and adults across the life span heal their nervous systems.
As a therapist, I believe a lot of our work is relational work whether that is between self, others, or the world. I welcome you to bring all aspects of your life and humanness into therapy. Together we will develop a treatment plan specific to your needs. We will work collaboratively to navigate stressors and challenges.
I view problems through a systemic lens as individuals are influenced by relationships, systems they interact with, and institutions. By taking this approach I work to support you in understanding patterns and adaptations that may have once served you in the past, but may not be fostering the connection with self and others you desire and deserve.
I enjoy working with adults to foster attunement to their nervous system and develop ways to regulate their nervous system. We tend to the mind-body connection. Our work might include exploring relational and thought patterns. Many of my clients want to experience more ease within their relationships with others and self.
An attachment-based approach will tend to early attachment experiences to strengthen your ability foster secure relationships.
Utilizing a mind and body approach will support you in developing mind/ body congruency.
