New to Grow
I’m Mark, a therapist who believes healing works best when it feels like a genuine partnership. I bring a grounded, approachable style to therapy — one that’s warm, accepting, and human. I work with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences, and I value the unique stories and identities each person brings. My role is to walk alongside you, offering steadiness, curiosity, and the occasional well‑timed laugh as we navigate the hard parts and celebrate the moments of growth.
Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what you’re carrying. I’ll invite you to share what’s been going on, what feels most important right now, and what you hope therapy can offer. We’ll explore your goals and strengths at a pace that feels comfortable. My approach is collaborative and down‑to‑earth, so expect a conversation that feels supportive and real — not clinical or scripted. Together, we’ll start shaping a direction that fits you.
I bring a warm, steady presence to therapy, and I try to make our time together feel comfortable and real. You don’t have to show up with everything figured out — just as you are is more than enough. I use humor gently when it helps lighten the load, and I’m good at creating a space where people feel safe being honest, even about the messy stuff. I work with folks from all kinds of backgrounds, and I show up with genuine curiosity about who you are and what matters to you. At the end of the day, I’m right there with you — listening, thinking things through together, and staying alongside you as you find your way forward.
I use CBT along with person centered therapy to help determine which thoughts are presenting obstacles to feeling better and teaching the client ways we can replace those thoughts and live their life more fully.
