In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Clients can expect our first session to focus around building rapport and discussing what brought them to therapy. We will review current concerns, any relevant background information and begin the process of identifying treatment goals. This session is also an opportunity for the client to ask any questions and ensure that they are comfortable moving forward with therapy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe, seen, and comfortable being themselves. I incorporate a relaxed, down-to-earth style and use appropriate humor to help ease tension and make the therapeutic process feel more approachable. My goal is to balance clinical skill with authenticity, making it easier for clients to engage in meaningful work while feeling genuinely supported.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I utilize Solution Focused Brief Treatment to help clients identify strengths, clarify goals, and develop practical, actionable steps toward desired change. Emphasis will be placed on what is already working and ways in which to modify based on desired outcomes. This helps me support clients in creating meaningful change while fostering a sense of empowerment, self-efficacy, and hope.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is utilized to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and understand how these thoughts influence emotions and behaviors. I use structured interventions to support clients in developing healthier thinking patterns and effective coping skills. My approach is collaborative and goal oriented, with a focus on improving daily functioning and emotional regulation.
