We'll use a whole self approach, addressing the needs of your mind, body and spirit. I also integrate mindfulness, yoga and art to help you develop a stronger relationship with yourself. I am licensed in Florida with 8 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, family conflicts, & trauma and abuse. I believe that you are the expert of your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. After your first session, you can expect to have goals set and an understanding of how treatment and sessions will be. You will feel motivated and empowered to overcome the obstacles you face in your life.
I utilize solution focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, art therapy and motivational interviewing. I love using a variety of modalities and conversation to get to the root of your struggles. I provide homework and methods to help you effectively cope and make changes in your life.
My biggest strength is working with individuals who have experience a variety of trauma including grief, abuse, and traumatic events. I am skilled in working with a variety of emotions relationship and family issues, self esteem, addictions and the LGBTQ community.
