Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) enhances an individual's ability to feel more in control of their thoughts, behaviors, and feelings. Through collaborative work, I work with my patients to help empower them to identify and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviors that can lead to emotional distress. This style of therapy along with medication management teaches optimal skills with emotional regulation and promote functioning.
