I am a board certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner ​that is licensed to provide services to adults, children, adolescents, and their families in the outpatient mental health clinic, psychiatric emergency services, private practice, and in a hospital or community health center. These services include conducting brief solution therapy, properly diagnosing mental health disorders, prescribing appropriate psychotropic medications for psychiatric disorders, medical mental conditions, substance abuse, and referring patients to appropriate levels of care. My primary focus is promoting stabilization while building a rapport, forming individualized treatment plans with consideration of patient's needs and wants, and managing holistic care of all patients.. As a young African American woman in an ever changing society, I wholeheartedly open my mind to you with the goal for you to always be the best version of yourself. In my spare time I enjoy binge watching ID TV, exploring new recipes, traveling, and spending quality time with her husband, our 2 young daughters, and our puppy Luna.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Every client can expect to leave a session with a feeling of understanding, being heard, and hope. I do not complete any form of disability paperwork, this is better completes by your therapist/pcp/psychologist. NS fee is $70 and any cancellations within 24 hours is $70.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I utilize several different diagnostic tools, along with a patient's history as most important to gain better insight. A few of these tools include DSM5-Tr, PHQ9, GAD7, MDQ, etc After gaining understanding of symptoms exhibited, if medications are warranted, the patient and myself will review further treatment for management of those symptoms.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I focus on treating PTSD, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, adjustment disorders, trauma, stress, OCD, and other mental health disorders. I do not treat ADHD currently
