New to Grow
Seeking therapy can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, grief, stress, and major life transitions. My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative, while also helping clients develop practical tools for lasting change. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to move toward the life you want. Whether you’re struggling with a difficult season or seeking personal growth, I am committed to meeting you where you are and helping you build on your strengths.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another in a comfortable and judgment-free environment. There is no pressure to share everything at once. We’ll discuss what brought you to therapy, explore your current challenges, identify your goals, and begin creating a plan tailored to your needs. My goal is to help you feel supported, understood, and confident about the therapeutic process. Together, we’ll determine what healing and growth look like for you and take the first steps toward meaningful change.
Clients often tell me that I am easy to talk to, genuine, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy should feel like a real conversation, not an interrogation or a lecture. While I provide empathy and support, I am also direct when needed and willing to gently challenge patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Growth often happens when we are both supported and held accountable. My approach balances compassion, honesty, and practical problem-solving. I help clients gain insight into their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing concrete strategies they can use outside of session. I don’t believe in simply talking about problems week after week without working toward meaningful change. Humor also has a place in therapy. While I take my clients and their experiences seriously, I believe laughter can be healing and help create connection, perspective, and resilience. When appropriate, I use humor to help clients feel comfortable and remind them that even during difficult seasons, there is still room for hope. My professional experience has allowed me to work with individuals from many different backgrounds who have experienced trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, and significant stress. I understand that people are often carrying burdens that others cannot see, and I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. I am especially passionate about helping clients build self-awareness, strengthen relationships, improve communication, develop healthy boundaries, and move toward lives that feel more authentic and fulfilling. Whether you are facing a crisis, navigating a major life change, or simply feeling stuck, I will meet you where you are while helping you move toward where you want to be. I believe therapy should be both meaningful and practical. My goal is for clients to leave sessions feeling understood, challenged when appropriate, and equipped with tools they can actually use in their daily lives.
I work with adults and couples who are seeking support with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, stress, self-esteem concerns, and major life transitions. Many of my clients are high-functioning individuals who appear to have everything together on the outside but are struggling internally. I also enjoy working with men who may find it difficult to open up and are looking for a supportive, nonjudgmental space to process emotions, improve relationships, and develop healthier coping skills. My approach is warm, collaborative, and focused on helping clients create meaningful and lasting change.
Other specialties
I identify as
Strength-Based
I believe every person already has strengths, resilience, and abilities that can help them overcome life’s challenges. In our work together, we’ll identify what’s already working, build on your existing skills, and use those strengths to help you navigate stress, relationships, trauma, anxiety, depression, and major life transitions. My goal is to help you recognize your own capabilities while creating meaningful and lasting change.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
CBT helps identify unhelpful thought patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, stress, or relationship difficulties. Together, we’ll explore how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected and develop practical strategies to create healthier patterns and improve daily functioning.
Trauma Informed Care
Trauma can impact the way we think, feel, and relate to others long after difficult experiences have occurred. I provide a safe, supportive space to process trauma, develop coping skills, and work toward healing at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
