Stacey Brind
I believe mental health care should feel personal, supportive, and judgment-free. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I work with children, adolescents, and adults, creating a space where clients feel heard, respected, and comfortable being themselves.
Compassionate, personalized psychiatric care for children, adolescents & adults — Growing toward a healthier you.
I understand that reaching out for mental health care can be difficult, and I want each person to feel that they have a partner in their treatment—not simply someone making decisions for them. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and trauma-informed, with a focus on understanding the whole person and creating individualized treatment plans that support each client’s goals, strengths, and overall well-being.
First session
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and for me to understand what brings you to treatment. We will discuss your current concerns, mental health history, medical history, medications, symptoms, and goals for care. I will also answer questions and explain treatment options so that we can determine the best path forward together. You do not need to have everything figured out before your first appointment. Come as you are. My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling listened to, understood, and hopeful about the next steps in your mental health journey.
Strengths
I bring a compassionate, approachable, and whole-person perspective to every session. My background in nursing and psychiatric care allows me to consider how mental health, physical health, life experiences, relationships, and daily stressors can all influence well-being. I take time to listen and understand what each client is experiencing rather than making assumptions based solely on a diagnosis. My approach is collaborative and nonjudgmental—I want clients to feel heard and involved in their care, while working together to find practical, individualized strategies that fit their needs and goals.
Ideal clients
My ideal client is someone who is ready to better understand themselves, feel more balanced, and make meaningful changes in their life. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, mood concerns, or challenges related to substance use and dual diagnosis. I especially value working with clients who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure where to begin and want a compassionate, nonjudgmental provider to help them move forward. Together, we’ll focus on your goals, build on your strengths, and develop practical strategies to support lasting mental and emotional wellness.
