Are you tired of constantly battling anxiety and uncertainty? Even though your life may appear great from the outside and you have many accomplishments to be proud of, something still feels off. Maybe you experience anxiety, struggle with decision-making, or feel unfulfilled and disconnected in your relationships. The self-criticism and constant second-guessing of your actions, such as analyzing every text message or worrying about what others think of you, can be exhausting. It seems like life is happening to you, and you long to regain control. Despite your efforts with journaling or mindfulness practices, you're still searching for that sense of authenticity and inner peace. I have a passion for assisting adolescents and adults in unraveling the causes of their anxiety or feeling overwhelmed. Together, we can delve into unexplored aspects of yourself that may not have previously been considered. I strive to co-create a safe and supportive environment for you to uncover the answers and find your own path. I utilize EMDR, parts work and talk therapy to help you tap into your inner strengths, intuition, and resilience, empowering you to trust yourself wholeheartedly.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, we'll take some time to get to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy. We’ll explore the specific issues or challenges you want to work on, and I’ll listen carefully to understand what’s most important to you. Together, we’ll identify the areas you’d like to focus on and then collaborate to set some goals that feel meaningful and achievable. We’ll also create a plan for how we’ll work towards those goals, making sure it’s something that feels comfortable and right for you. This session is all about setting the foundation for our work together, so you can feel supported and understood as we move forward.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I believe that effective therapy happens within the context of a safe and supportive relationship. Just as damaging or unhealthy relationships can cause pain and distress, a secure and supportive relationship can assist us in healing and overcoming those hurts. That's why I prioritize the therapeutic relationship in my work, emphasizing the creation of a secure environment founded on trust, positive regard, and meaningful connection.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with people going through transitions and life changes. Perhaps feeling a bit overwhelmed by it all. My clients are motivated to make positive changes in their life and eager to learn and grow through the process. They have a natural curiosity about themselves and the world around them, and they’re interested in understanding the connection between the mind and body. These clients are open to exploring new perspectives and approaches as they work towards their goals.

My treatment methods

EMDR

I use Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help my clients work through difficult memories and experiences in a safe and supportive environment. During our sessions, I guide clients as they revisit these memories while using techniques that help ease the emotional impact. This process allows them to reframe how they view these experiences, helping them to heal and move forward. EMDR is one of the ways I tailor therapy to each person’s unique journey, making sure they feel supported every step of the way.

Psychodynamic

In my practice, I use psychodynamic therapy to help clients explore the deeper layers of their emotions and relationships. Together, we look at past experiences to understand how they might be affecting feelings and behaviors today. This process helps uncover patterns and unresolved conflicts, leading to greater self-awareness and personal growth. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where clients can gain insight into their emotional challenges, paving the way for lasting positive change.
