(she/her)
Hello! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Florida with a master’s degree from Louisiana State University and over seven years of experience in the mental health field. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, attachment challenges, and trauma. My approach focuses on helping clients heal, build effective coping strategies, and grow into the best version of themselves. I find deep fulfillment in the autonomy and purpose that private practice provides.
In our first session together, we'll complete our initial introductions. We'll spend a few minutes reviewing privacy and practice policies. The first session is largely us building rapport and identifying themes for treatment that will assist in building a treatment plan during future sessions.
I have a diverse clientele and I've worked with a variety of different populations ( substance use, mental health, child-welfare, trauma). The one common denominator with every client that I've treated is therapeutic rapport. Fostering and maintaining a solid therapeutic relationship is foremost. Listening and hearing my clients needs, collaborating with the client on treatment and providing interventions tailored to their specific needs comes naturally once the relationship is solidified.
I love working with clients who have significant attachment trauma, low self-esteem and self-worth. My clients are motivated to improve yet don't always have the resources or support needed. They often feel alienated, betrayed, abandoned and have difficulty building trusting relationships.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) interventions to assist patients in identifying and addressing automatic negative thought patterns, maladaptive behaviors and thoughts that contribute to anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and other interpersonal issues.
EMDR
I use Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) to target trauma by reprocessing maladaptive memories to adaptive memory networks. I have used this method of treatment with clients who have experienced major life traumas and those who have experienced trauma through relationship, abandonment and attachment issues.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
The core of all of my treatment methods are person-centered. I believe strongly in meeting clients where they are in their healing journey, maintaining respect and confidentiality, building strong therapeutic rapport and listening to the needs of my clients.
Attachment-based
I incorporate attachment theory to help clients develop self-awareness around how their early relationships with primary caregivers have influenced their emotional development, relational patterns, and behavior

Brandi always helps me look out of the box I sometimes place myself in with my limited thinking. Non-judgmental and always so kind. I’m thankful for my sessions with her!

For our initial session Ms.Brandi was very warm and almost a fresh breath of air. Shes aligned with my values and have experience in what I struggled with. She allowed me to express my thoughts and concerns and gently assisted me through the first process. I’m excited to begin this journey of healing with her.
