New to Grow
Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, burnt out, or like you’re trying to keep it together for everyone else? Maybe your mind won’t slow down, your relationships feel draining, or you’re just tired of carrying everything on your own. Whatever it is that you’re navigating, you don’t have to go through it by yourself. I provide a supportive, warm, and nonjudgmental space where you can show up fully as yourself. My approach combines Person-Centered Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), blending empathy and connection with practical tools to help you better understand your thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns.
Therapy is about helping you reconnect with your strengths, identify your resilience, increase self-awareness, and feel more empowered in navigating life’s challenges. We’ll work through anxiety, stress, self-esteem, life transitions, relationship challenges, burnout, and the emotional weight of everyday life. Together, we'll identifying strategies for managing your stressors, challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, and increase your confidence navigating life's unpredictability. Whether you’re feeling disconnected, emotionally exhausted, or simply needing a space to breathe and process, I’m here to support you. You deserve to feel safe and empowered.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in CBT and Person Centered Therapy. Our work together will focus on identifying and reframing unhelpful thinking patterns, developing effective coping strategies for managing stressors, and build up your confidence in your existing strengths in the hopes of achieving your goals in an environment that encourages self-awareness, resilience, and empowerment.
My ideal therapy client is someone who is open to the process of self-exploration and growth. I believe therapy is a journey we take together, with trust, curiosity, and collaboration at the center. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to support you in better understanding yourself, your experiences, and the patterns that may be shaping your present. I value working with clients who are willing to reflect, ask questions, and engage honestly in the therapeutic process, even when it feels challenging.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, or CBT, to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we explore patterns that may be contributing to distress, feeling stuck, or repeating unhelpful cycles. CBT allows us to identify thoughts and beliefs that may no longer be serving you and work toward developing more balanced, flexible, and compassionate ways of thinking.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I use person-centered therapy to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and accepted. I believe that each person has the capacity for growth and healing, and that you are the expert on your own life. My role is to walk alongside you, offering empathy, authenticity, and unconditional positive regard as you explore your thoughts, feelings, experiences, and goals. In our work together, I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship rooted in trust and collaboration.
Trauma Informed Care
I use trauma-informed care by creating a safe, supportive, and empowering space where clients feel respected and in control of their healing process. I recognize that past experiences can shape how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world around us. My approach is grounded in compassion, collaboration, trust, and choice, with an understanding that healing looks different for each person. In our work together, I move at a pace that feels manageable and supportive. I focus on helping clients build safety, strengthen coping skills, and explore their experiences without judgment or pressure. Trauma-informed care means honoring your story while also recognizing your resilience, strengths, and capacity for growth. My goal is to help you feel heard, supported, and empowered as you move toward healing.
Strength-Based
I use a strengths-based approach by helping clients recognize and build upon the strengths, skills, values, and resilience they already carry. While therapy may involve exploring challenges, pain, or areas of growth, I believe it is equally important to identify what is already working and what has helped you get through difficult experiences. In our work together, I focus on collaboration, empowerment, and self-discovery. I support clients in noticing their abilities, inner resources, support systems, and past successes so they can feel more confident navigating current challenges. A strengths-based approach helps shift the focus from “what is wrong with me?” to “what strengths can I use to move forward?” My goal is to help you feel seen as a whole person, not defined by your struggles, and empowered to create meaningful change.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I use Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to help clients identify their goals, strengths, and existing resources as they work toward meaningful change. Rather than focusing only on the problem, we explore what is already working, what has helped in the past, and what small steps can move you closer to the life you want. My approach is collaborative, practical, and future-oriented. Together, we clarify what progress would look like, identify exceptions to the problem, and build on moments when things feel more manageable. I support clients in recognizing their own abilities and creating realistic, achievable steps toward change. Solution-Focused Brief Therapy allows us to focus on hope, possibility, and forward movement while honoring your unique experiences and strengths.
