I am so glad you are here. Let me take a moment to introduce myself. As a bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), I specialize in a strengths-based and person-centered approach. I work with adolescents, adults, and couples to overcome challenges, achieve balance, and create adaptive strategies for personal growth from a trauma-informed perspective. By fostering resilience and meaningful connections, I help clients build fulfilling lives for themselves.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you can expect a warm, non-judgmental space where your voice is truly heard. It’s important that you feel comfortable and safe with your therapist, and together, we will set the stage for your healing journey. We’ll work towards helping you feel more in control of your health and well-being, establishing a foundation for growth and progress.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My communication style is personal, non-judgmental, and motivational. In our work together, you can expect a safe and supportive environment where you feel heard and understood. As a first-generation, Latinx provider, you can expect to come away with a personal connection. It will feel as if we have known each other forever, and before you notice there will be changes in your life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with a variety of age groups, but most who come to me seek support in areas of anxiety, stress, and transitional struggles

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients combat unhelpful thinking patterns that negatively impact functioning. There is strong correlation between our thoughts, emotions and behaviors--understanding where you can impact the pattern, can help change the outcome.

Psychoanalytic

The psychoanalytic approach in therapy helps clients uncover unconscious patterns and past experiences that influence their current thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, leading to greater self-awareness. By exploring unresolved conflicts and deep-seated emotions, individuals can gain insight and work through internal struggles, fostering emotional healing and personal growth.

Grief Therapy

Grief therapy provides a supportive space for individuals to process the complex emotions of loss, helping them navigate grief at their own pace. Through guidance and coping strategies, clients can work through their pain, find meaning in their experience, and eventually adjust to life without their loved one.

Chauntell has helped me work through deep grief, anxiety, and depression. Since starting our sessions, I’ve felt more empowered and emotionally aware. I’ve come a long way and now live each day with more clarity and peace. She’s kind, compassionate, and always makes me feel heard and understood. I’ve learned how emotions work and how to manage them in healthier ways. I’m incredibly grateful for her support and feel lucky to have found someone so dedicated and caring in my healing journey.
