Hi, I’m a Licensed Psychologist serving clients throughout the state of Connecticut. I received my B.A. in Psychology from the University of Bridgeport, my M.S. in Counseling from Southern Connecticut State University, and my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Indiana State University. I have been providing psychotherapy to clients of all ages and presenting issues for the last 24 years, helping them to be the best version of themselves.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we'll take the time to get to know each other. I really want to understand the issues you're looking to overcome and what goals you're hoping to achieve. This will also be a good opportunity for you to ask any questions about me and my approach to psychotherapy. At the end of our first meeting, I'll check in with you to see how you think our session went, and if you'd like to follow up again, we'll set an agenda for our next session.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my strengths as a therapist is that my clients feel safe, understood, accepted, and empowered. I have a keen sense of when to tread gently on sensitive topics and when to challenge defenses. My experience in working with many types of issues helps clients feel confident that I will help them through their unique struggles.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love helping clients who are working hard to overcome anxiety or depression and are in need of new tools and guidance on how to get unstuck and achieve their dreams. I particularly like to work with patients and families affected by diabetes, helping them to manage their thoughts and emotions while they manage their diabetes. I also like to work with athletes to help them manage their anxieties in order to reach optimal performance.
