I’m a therapist who keeps it real, practical, and focused on helping you actually see change. I work with adults, teens, couples, and families navigating anxiety, relationship stress, parenting challenges, fertility/postpartum experiences, and major life transitions. I help you understand your patterns, gain clarity, and build tools so you can feel more in control and connected in your everyday life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is a conversation, not an interrogation. We’ll talk through what’s bringing you in, what’s been weighing on you, and what you want to see change. I’ll ask some questions to understand your patterns, relationships, and goals, and you’ll get a feel for how I work. You’ll leave with more clarity and a clear direction for what we’ll focus on moving forward.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my biggest strengths is helping you connect the dots quickly so you’re not stuck wondering “why do I keep feeling/doing this?” We get to the root of things and make it make sense. I balance being supportive with being direct. You’ll feel heard, but you’ll also be challenged in a way that helps you grow. I’m not a passive therapist; I’m engaged, honest, and focused on helping you actually move forward. I’m also very practical. I don’t just listen, I give you tools you can use in real life, whether that’s managing anxiety, improving communication, or navigating tough situations in the moment. Because I work with individuals, couples, and families, I’m able to see patterns from multiple angles, especially in relationships, parenting, and emotional dynamics. Clients often tell me they leave sessions with more clarity, a better understanding of themselves, and a clear next step, not just something to think about, but something actually to do.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with adults, teens, couples, and families who are tired of feeling stuck in the same patterns, whether that’s anxiety, relationship stress, parenting challenges, or major life transitions. A lot of my clients are high-functioning but overwhelmed, especially women, moms (including postpartum and fertility), and young professionals trying to manage everything without burning out. I also work closely with parents who want to better support their child or teen while improving connection at home, not just managing behavior. I specialize in couples counseling, fertility and reproductive challenges, and postpartum/perinatal mental health. I also support clients dealing with family conflict, school issues, career stress, parenting concerns, and life transitions. I have experience working with military/veteran populations as well as families involved in foster care and adoption. My approach blends psychoeducation, CBT, EFT, and Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP). That means we’re not just talking, you’ll actually understand your patterns, learn how to manage your emotions, and improve your relationships in real life. I’m a great fit if you want a therapist who is supportive but also real, direct, and engaged. I’m here to help you move forward, not just vent. I may not be the best fit if you’re looking for a very passive, just-listening style of therapy. I take a collaborative, active approach focused on real progress.

My treatment methods

Psychoeducation

A big part of how I work is through psychoeducation, which just means I help you understand what’s actually going on why you feel the way you feel, how your mind and body respond to stress, and what patterns might be keeping you stuck. When things start to make sense, it’s a lot easier to feel back in control.

Child Parent Psychotherapy

If you’re a parent, I also use Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) to support both you and your child. We focus on strengthening your bond, improving communication, and working through anything that may be impacting your child emotionally. It’s not about “perfect parenting” it’s about building a safe, connected relationship.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I also pull from CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), which is great for helping you notice unhelpful thoughts and habits and actually change them. This is where we get practical real tools you can use when anxiety hits, when your mood drops, or when you feel overwhelmed.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

When it comes to emotions and relationships, I use EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) to help you better understand your feelings and how they show up in your relationships. Whether it’s with a partner, family member, or even yourself, we work on improving communication, reducing conflict, and creating deeper, healthier connections.
