I love what I do, and my hope is to help you create a life you genuinely love living! While stress is an inevitable part of life, I believe it can exist alongside joy, play, purpose, and meaningful connection. My goal is to help you cultivate the confidence, skills, and self-trust to become your own greatest resource, so that one day you no longer need me. Therapy is a collaborative process where we'll design a life that aligns with your values, strengths, and goals. Along the way, I'll encourage curiosity, creativity, mindfulness, and even play, while helping you develop practical tools to navigate obstacles, quiet unhelpful thoughts, and move through life with greater confidence.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Come with an open mind and be ready to create! Healing is an active process, and together we'll explore what inspires you, what holds you back, and the parts of yourself that are ready to grow. I'll often introduce creative and experiential interventions tailored to your unique needs, so you can expect sessions to be engaging, hands-on, and sometimes challenging. Growth often happens just outside of our comfort zone, and those moments can build confidence, resilience, and self-trust. If you're feeling overwhelmed or stuck in survival mode, we'll first focus on creating safety, emotional regulation, and healthy expression before moving into deeper exploration. You may also leave sessions with activities or reflections to practice between appointments, allowing the work we do together to continue long after the session ends.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring curiosity, creativity, and genuine enthusiasm into every session. I don't believe therapy is one-size-fits-all, so I tailor each session to your unique personality, goals, and needs. My approach blends evidence-based techniques with experiential interventions that help you not only gain insight, but actually practice new ways of thinking, feeling, and responding in the moment. I love creating engaging activities, guided meditations, and creative exercises that make therapy memorable and meaningful. Most importantly, I strive to create a space where you feel seen, challenged, supported, and empowered—because I believe lasting growth happens when you feel safe enough to explore and confident enough to take the next step.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal clients are curious, open-minded, and ready to actively engage in the therapeutic process. You don't have to have everything figured out—in fact, most people don't—but a willingness to explore, try new approaches, and step outside your comfort zone can make all the difference. I enjoy working with individuals who want to better understand themselves, improve their relationships, manage anxiety or overwhelming emotions, heal from past experiences, and create a life that feels meaningful, balanced, and authentic. Whether you're feeling stuck, navigating a major life transition, or simply know you're capable of more than you're currently experiencing, we'll work together to uncover your strengths, overcome obstacles, and create lasting change.

My treatment methods

Experiential Therapy

Let's have fun! While insight is important, I believe meaningful growth happens through experience. I incorporate experiential interventions that allow clients to not only understand their emotions intellectually, but to feel, practice, and integrate change in the moment. Using art and experiential activities, you'll have the opportunitiy to play and practice the skills you cultivate. Whether through guided imagery, mindfulness, creative expression, role-play, chair work, or other experiential exercises, I strive to create sessions that are engaging, memorable, and transformative. As a Board Certified Art Therapist (ATR-BC), I hope to bring some color into your life!

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I'll help you understand how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected. Together, we'll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, challenge unhelpful beliefs, and develop practical skills to help you feel more confident, balanced, and in control of your life.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps you build a different relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions instead of feeling controlled by them. Through mindfulness, guided meditations, and values-based exercises, I'll help you develop greater self-awareness, increase psychological flexibility, and take meaningful steps toward a life that aligns with what matters most to you—even when challenges arise.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), I'll help you build skills to navigate overwhelming emotions, manage stress, and improve relationships. Through mindfulness, hands-on exercises, and real-life practice, you'll learn healthy ways to respond to challenges with greater confidence, resilience, and self-awareness.
