New to Grow
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with 15 years of experience providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to adolescents and adults. Specializes in working with individuals experiencing addiction, mood disorders, severe mental illness, anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, and personality-related challenges. Utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients build coping skills, improve emotional wellness, and create meaningful, lasting change. Known for a collaborative, nonjudgmental approach that supports clients in achieving stability, resilience, and personal growth.
The first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable therapeutic relationship. During this session, we will review important disclosures, discuss what brought you to therapy, and explore your goals, concerns, and current challenges. It is also a chance for you to ask any questions you may have about the therapy process, my approach, or what to expect moving forward. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and understood.
My greatest strengths as a clinician include creating a collaborative and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where clients feel safe, heard, and supported throughout the counseling process. I value building strong therapeutic relationships and tailoring treatment approaches to meet each client’s unique needs, goals, and strengths.
I enjoy working with adults and older adolescents (ages 12-17) experiencing anxiety, depression, anger management, complex mental health challenges, particularly severe and persistent mental illness, co-occurring substance use disorders, emotional dysregulation, and personality-related difficulties. I enjoy helping clients learn new skills to regulate emotions that can assist clients throughout their lives and I also enjoy helping clients process concerns or areas of stress.
