The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Having worked with adolescents, teens, young adults, the elderly, and LGBTQ communities for the past 5years, I've developed a tried-and-true playbook for helping you (a) identify the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress and positive outcomes.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with adolescents, teens, young adults and older adults. My ideal clients are eager to seek the care for the concern they are looking to change. Most of my clients improve after a few sessions with me and is provided the tools needed to make their goals a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about what's going on in their life however after taking time to coach my clients they understand what really matters the most. That is being optimistic with their outcomes.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

is a proven treatment that helps reframe negative thoughts to improve conditions like anxiety, ADHD, trauma, or sleep disorders. CBT teaches people to challenge negative thought patterns and turn less often to unhelpful behaviors, which can improve mood and the way you respond to challenging situations.During CBT, a mental health professional helps you take a close look at your thoughts and emotions. You’ll come to understand how your thoughts affect your actions. Through CBT, you can unlearn negative thoughts and behaviors and learn to adopt healthier thinking patterns and habits. CBT usually takes place over a limited number of sessions. Using a question-and-answer format, your therapist helps you gain a different perspective.

Child Parent Psychotherapy

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a type of talk therapy that helps kids and adults identify and change unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. CBT is a combination of two therapies: cognitive therapy (understanding our own thoughts) and behavioral therapy (changing our patterns of actions and behaviors). CBT guides children to become more confident and independent thinkers. Cognitive behavioral therapy is a popular type of talk therapy that can help support children with autism and other developmental differences. Therapy sessions are personalized to the child’s unique goals, with a focus on the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. The therapist will share various strategies to teach your child how to exchange unhelpful thoughts with positive and realistic ones. Parent or caregiver involvement in their child’s therapy has been found to improve outcomes. You might join in during therapy or attend separate coaching sessions (also known by some as parent training).

Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP)

AEDP is a short-term therapy approach that is designed to help individuals process and transform emotional pain and trauma in a more efficient manner than traditional talk therapies. AEDP is a healing-based and transformation-oriented model of psychotherapeutic treatment. It focuses on healing-oriented techniques and aims to achieve a transformation in client behavior by exploring the in-depth processing of difficult emotional and relational experiences

Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Suicide Prevention (CBT-SP)

Cognitive behavioral therapy for suicide prevention (CBT-SP) refers to a group of therapies using a cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) approach to reduce risk of future suicidal behaviors. The early phase of treatment focuses on treatment engagement, risk assessment, and crisis management. Treatment begins with the therapist completing a thorough suicide risk assessment, in addition to gathering other relevant information. Crisis intervention strategies, such as developing a Safety Plan and conducting Means Restriction Counseling, are also completed during this phase. Finally, the therapist guides the patient in obtaining a detailed narrative timeline of the most recent suicidal crisis. A cognitive-behavioral case conceptualization is generated collaboratively with the patient and used to create an individualized treatment plan based on the idiographic needs of the patient.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i)

Before beginning CBT, it is essential to obtain baseline sleep data. In addition to providing information about the severity of the patient's sleep problem, these data are needed to determine individualized time in bed (TIB) prescriptions for each patient.
