About me

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with five years in private practice, I firmly believe that healing is attainable for anyone open to the process. Working from a systemic perspective, I support individuals, couples, and families as they navigate complex challenges. My areas of clinical experience include trauma, domestic violence, adoption, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, self-care, and relationship dynamics. Beyond my practice, I am a published author, a mother of two, and a grandmother of three, with a passion for music, singing, writing, art, and cooking. Having navigated life's challenges through therapy and strong support systems, I understand the transformation that recovery brings, and I would be honored to walk alongside you on your healing journey.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our initial session, we'll discuss your main concerns and what brought you to therapy. It's also a great opportunity for you to ask questions, learn about the process, and explore what to expect as we move forward together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Overcoming the trials of adoption and surviving domestic violence has forged my strength. Through therapy, grounded faith, and an unyielding desire for a joyful, healthy life, I have grown into a resilient, interdependent woman embracing every step of my journey.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I help clients navigating relationship struggles, life transitions, grief, past or ongoing trauma, and the search for purpose. If you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, lonely, frustrated or disconnected, you don't have to process it alone. Together, we will gently unpack your experiences and emotions to help you heal, find clarity, and restore a sense of balance and well-being in your life.

My treatment methods

Child Parent Psychotherapy

Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) serves as the primary clinical framework for helping children and their caregivers heal from trauma, resolve behavioral distress, and rebuild secure attachment bonds. By looking beyond individual symptoms, this approach treats the caregiver-child dynamic as the patient, creating a shared space where safety, emotional clarity, and mutual understanding can grow.

Christian Counseling

Utilizing Biblical and spiritual tools and guidance to help client's gain better understanding of how to navigate life stressors and issues through faith and gaining a deeper understanding of these elements.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Assisting clients with learning about the relation between feelings, behaviors and thoughts. Teaching them to make small changes in either of the three areas to help develop healthier ways of coping with and navigating through challenges.

Couples Counseling

Assist couples with identifying their relational issues, developing coping skills to manage difficult relational interactions, exploring family maps to compare and contrast family history and patterns and exploring red flags and green lights of relationships.

Family Therapy

Working with families as a whole system to explore and identify their challenges. Helping families process and heal from trauma, adoption, domestic violence, and communication issues.
