HI! I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist who believes in developing authentic and collaborative therapeutic relationships so clients can tap into their capacity for growth, healing, and change. I have experience working with people who have faced challenges centered around trauma, depression, anxiety, anger, emotion regulation, grief, self-doubt, esteem, and various life stressors.
Reaching out for help is difficult and the thought of speaking to someone (about all the things you’ve likely kept to yourself) can feel intimating (in some cases, even terrifying). I strive to lessen those barriers by creating an approachable, compassionate, and safe therapeutic space. During the initial sessions, I spend time getting to know you (strengths, challenges, stressors, etc.). Once we understand what stands in the way between you and living a life more closely aligned with your values, we will develop goals that address your unique needs. Throughout treatment, we will discuss your goals and adjust as needed. My hope is that every client leaves with exactly what they needed (whether that be skills, insights, direction, purpose, validation, catharsis, etc.).
I utilize various clinical and collaborative approaches to help my clients’ meet their therapy goals. Some treatment methods within my area of expertise are: Cognitive behavioral therapy Acceptance and commitment therapy Dialectical behavior therapy Cognitive Processing Therapy (trauma)
My biggest clinical strength is my dedication to the collaborative process. I am committed to creating safe and accepting spaces that foster a genuine and effective working relationship. Together we can work through the challenges that are holding you back and create more room in your life for growth and healing.
