New to Grow
Dr. Ariana Iacobucci is a Doctor of Behavioral Health, Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPC-S), and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) with more than 13 years of experience helping adults navigate life's challenges. She specializes in anxiety, relationship concerns, attachment issues, trauma, addiction recovery, life transitions, and emotional wellness. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices while honoring each client's unique strengths, values, and lived experiences. Ariana believes that lasting change occurs when individuals develop a deeper understanding of themselves, their patterns, and their relationships. She integrates cognitive-behavioral, relational, trauma-informed, and mindfulness-based approaches to help clients move from reactivity and self-doubt toward greater clarity, resilience, and self-trust. Her ideal clients are thoughtful, growth-oriented adults who may appear successful on the outside but feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain on the inside. Many struggle with anxiety, relationship patterns, people-pleasing, self-worth, attachment wounds, or difficulty navigating major life transitions. They are seeking more than symptom relief—they want meaningful transformation, healthier relationships, and a stronger sense of purpose and authenticity. Ariana is passionate about helping clients cultivate emotional freedom, develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others, and create lives that feel aligned with their values and goals.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong foundation for our work together. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can share your concerns, ask questions, and determine whether I am a good fit for your needs. During the intake session, I will gather information about what brings you to therapy, your current challenges, relevant personal and family history, relationships, strengths, and any previous experiences with counseling or treatment. We will also discuss your goals for therapy and what you hope to achieve through our work together. While the first session involves gathering information, it is not simply an interview. I strive to make the process conversational and collaborative, allowing space for you to share what feels most important. You are welcome to ask questions at any point, and there is no expectation that you disclose more than you are comfortable sharing. By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of how I work, an initial sense of the factors contributing to your concerns, and a preliminary plan for treatment. Together, we will identify goals and discuss possible approaches to help you move toward meaningful and lasting change. Many clients report feeling relieved after their first session simply because they have taken an important step toward addressing challenges and investing in their well-being.
What sets my approach apart is the balance I bring between clinical expertise and genuine human connection. With over 13 years of experience in behavioral health, I have worked in a variety of settings, including hospitals, community mental health, addiction treatment, crisis intervention, and private practice. This breadth of experience allows me to understand the complexity of human behavior while tailoring treatment to each individual's unique needs and circumstances. I believe that therapy is most effective when clients feel truly seen, understood, and respected. Rather than positioning myself as the expert on your life, I view therapy as a collaborative process in which we work together to identify patterns, uncover obstacles, and build on your existing strengths. My goal is to create a space where you can be fully authentic without fear of judgment. Clients often tell me they appreciate my ability to balance compassion with honesty. While I provide support and validation, I am also willing to gently challenge unhelpful patterns, blind spots, and beliefs that may be keeping you stuck. I believe meaningful growth occurs when clients feel both accepted for who they are and empowered to make changes that align with their goals and values. My work is informed by relational, cognitive-behavioral, trauma-informed, mindfulness-based, and strengths-focused approaches. I strive to help clients understand not only what they are experiencing, but why they are experiencing it and what practical steps they can take to create lasting change. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, trauma, addiction, or questions about your identity and purpose, my goal is to provide a therapeutic experience that feels engaging, collaborative, and transformative. I want clients to leave sessions with greater insight, increased self-awareness, and a renewed sense of confidence in their ability to navigate life's challenges.
I prefer to work collaboratively with adults in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment that balances insight with practical strategies for change. My approach honors each client's unique experiences, strengths, and goals while helping them develop greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and confidence in navigating life's challenges. I particularly enjoy working with people who are "highly sensitive" and find it challenging to navigate this harsh world.
