Welcome! I'm Gabrielle, a licensed clinical social worker who helps folks with breaking out of the emotional patterns that keep them stuck — perfectionism, people-pleasing, burnout, and feeling like you’re “too much” or “not enough” all at once. Using schema therapy, psychodynamic insight, and nervous system-informed support, I work collaboratively with you to understand the origin of your patterns, soothe shame, and create new ways of relating — both to others and to yourself.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll slow things down and create space for you to share what brings you to therapy in your own words. I’ll ask thoughtful, open-ended questions to get a sense of your current challenges, emotional world, personal history, and what you’re hoping to shift or understand more deeply. By the end of the session, my hope is that you’ll feel both heard and grounded, with a clear idea of how we can work together — whether that includes focusing on emotion regulation, boundaries, self-worth, relationship dynamics, or simply reconnecting with parts of yourself that have been hidden or silenced. This space is yours. You set the pace. And we’ll co-create a path that feels right for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a therapist, I bring a deep capacity to hold complexity — I don’t shy away from the layered, contradictory, or painful parts of your story. My clients often tell me they feel seen not just for their symptoms, but for the full context of who they are: the protector parts, the wounded inner child, the inner critic, and the self that is still evolving. I’m especially skilled at helping clients untangle early relational dynamics — family roles, generational legacies, internalized rules — and understand how these patterns live on in adult relationships, self-worth, and coping strategies.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Many of the people I support have spent years carrying emotional weight for others and going unseen — in their families, partnerships, and communities — while quietly questioning who they are outside of those roles. You may resonate with my approach if: - You have a complex history shaped by emotional neglect, enmeshment, or inconsistent caregiving, and you're seeking support untangling the patterns that still follow you today. - You appear high-functioning to others but feel weighed down by internal pressure, perfectionism, or the sense that rest and ease are hard to allow. - You’re navigating the layered experience of multiple identities (e.g., queer, Black, or otherwise marginalized) and want a therapeutic space that can hold that nuance. - You’re in a period of transition — ending a relationship, redefining family, or reclaiming your voice — and want support building a grounded, authentic sense of self. - You're drawn to therapy not just to "fix" something but to understand the deeper emotional roots of your experiences, and to move forward with more intention, clarity and self-compassion.

My treatment methods

Schema Therapy

I use Schema and Psychodynamic therapy to help uncover deep-rooted patterns from early life that impact present behaviors and emotions. By exploring these underlying schemas and unconscious processes, clients can gain greater self-awareness, break negative cycles, and develop healthier ways of relating to themselves and others.
