Dr Shay Bryant
I’m a board-certified adult psychiatrist with over 12 years of experience in residential treatment, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient settings. I’ve had the privilege of supporting people through difficult seasons of life, and I deeply respect the courage it takes to seek help. I specialize in thoughtful medication management within a whole-person approach to care. In addition to treating symptoms, we’ll look at the broader factors that influence mental health—such as sleep, stress, relationships, and daily habits—so your care feels both effective and sustainable.
I’m a board-certified adult psychiatrist with over 12 years of experience in residential treatment, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient settings.
My work is grounded in evidence-based medicine, but treatment is never one-size-fits-all. Together, we’ll create a personalized plan that aligns with your goals and values. I strive to offer a collaborative, compassionate space where you feel heard, understood, and genuinely supported on your path toward wellness.
First session
In our first session, I’ll ask a number of questions so I can really get to know you and understand what you’ve been experiencing. As we talk, I will begin shaping a solution-focused, individualized treatment plan. This will be a collaborative process, and I will take the time to explain what I’m recommending and why—whether that includes medication, lifestyle changes, or other approaches—so you feel informed, supported, and involved every step of the way.
Strengths
I strive to be both direct and compassionate in my care, and I bring extensive experience in medication management and lifestyle interventions to help you achieve meaningful, lasting symptom relief.
Treatment methods
Strength-Based
Often those struggling with mental health feel defective or like a burden. This is not the case, and there are strengths that can be developed and utilized through every struggle, leading to improved resilience and overall life satisfaction. I specialize in a strength based approach aligned with whole person care for a comprehensive approach to wellness.
