I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a wealth of experience. My practice focuses on providing comprehensive care to individuals aged 12 and above, including adolescents and adults. I am dedicated to offering specialized treatment and medication management for a wide range of mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, PTSD, and other mood-related disorders. I obtained my license in 2021 after graduating from Walden University with a Master's Degree in Nursing. My goal is to empower my patients to achieve better mental health and overall well-being, using evidence-based practices and a compassionate approach to support their journey towards healing and recovery.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our initial sessions, we will delve deeply into the issues at hand, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you get your life back. Most of my clients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first few month and sustained improvement thereafter

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a valuable tool in psychiatric practice due to its evidence-based approach and effectiveness in treating a wide range of mental health conditions. CBT helps patients identify and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviors, leading to improved coping skills and emotional regulation. By teaching patients to recognize and modify their maladaptive beliefs, CBT can help alleviate symptoms of depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other psychiatric disorders. Additionally, CBT empowers patients to develop practical skills for managing stress, enhancing problem-solving abilities, and improving overall quality of life. With its structured and goal-oriented nature, CBT is well-suited for integration into psychiatric treatment plans, offering both short-term symptom relief and long-term benefits for patients seeking lasting changes in their mental health and well-being.
