I have had a varied and interesting life. As a combat veteran, Purple Heart recipient, military spouse, mother, and small business owner, I am well-versed in the demands of life. In every stage, there was someone who helped me put the pieces together to make it work. Those people inspired me to do the same for others. I would be honored to help you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will get to know one another and review all the information needed to get a solid idea of how we will get to where you want to go.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring a pragmatic, ND-affirming, non-judgmental approach to each session to deliver you the tools and support we have chosen together to get you where you want to go. I hold an additional degree in interpersonal communication. I will be clear and supportive in all of our interactions. We will work as a team. We define the goals, and then we each do our part to make the magic happen.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with clients who experience a wide range of symptoms and concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, Autism, OCD, ADHD, PTSD, and addiction. Those who are looking to relieve the unrelenting barrage of stress, worry, anger, or fear. If you cannot get out of your head, regulate your emotions, get on task, give yourself a break, or relax, then I may be the therapist for you. I have advanced specialized training in anxiety disorders (OCD/Panic/Phobias), insomnia, neurodivergence, giftedness, trauma & PTSD, and military life/veteran concerns.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is an amazing adjunct treatment for anxiety disorders and OCD. I have three years experience in this modality with specialized training for the neurodiverse.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is one of the first modalities clinicians receive training in. It is great for changing attitudes that leads to new behavior for many mental health problems. I am well versed in this modality.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-i)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) is the gold-standard, first-line treatment for chronic sleep issues, focusing on changing thoughts and behaviors that disrupt sleep. I have practiced this for over a year.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a structured talk therapy, an adaptation of CBT, designed for intense emotions, teaching skills in Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness to build a life worth living by balancing acceptance and change. I have four years experience in this modality and I carry the C-DBT certification.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)

Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) is a specialized, evidence-based form of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) considered the gold standard for treating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD). I have over a year experience in this modality. I also practice Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT or ICBT) is a highly effective, evidence-based, specialized treatment for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) with studies showing it produces symptom reductions comparable to Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
