About me

Hi, I’m Tina. I understand that finding the right therapist can feel like a big decision, and it’s important to find someone you feel comfortable with. Starting therapy means allowing yourself to trust someone new and making room for your own growth in the midst of a busy life. Together, we’ll work to uncover your strengths, process difficult experiences, and develop tools to help you navigate life with greater confidence and self-compassion. No matter where you are in your journey, you don’t have to go through it alone—I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, you can expect a welcoming space where you can share as much -or as little as your comfortable with—there’s no pressure to dive too deep too soon. We’ll start by getting to know each other, discussing what brings you to therapy, and explore your hopes and goals for our work together. My focus will be on understanding your unique experiences and creating a safe, supportive foundation where you're empowered to take the next steps toward healing and growth.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I genuinely believe you have great capacity! And I will stand ready with curiosity and deep empathy, ensuring you feel truly heard and understood. In a resilience-based approach, I strive to help clients recognize their strengths, build self-compassion, and develop tools for growth. I meet each client where they are, honoring their unique experiences and pacing, so we can build trust and create meaningful progress together.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Life can be challenging, and even though you’ve successfully navigated difficulties before, there’s nothing wrong with seeking extra support when you need it. Therapy is for anyone who recognizes the value of having guidance—whether in relationships, work, or personal growth—and it takes real strength and courage to take that step. I work best with adults looking to untangle the complexities of their lives, young adults figuring out what’s next, and those feeling overwhelmed by anxiety. Together, we’ll work toward clarity, resilience, and a greater sense of balance.

My treatment methods

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

In my experience as a therapist using Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), I’ve found it to be a deeply compassionate and effective approach to helping clients navigate their emotions. I gently guide them to explore and process difficult feelings, being mindful to create a safe space for healing. Through this process, I’ve seen clients develop greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and a deeper sense of self-compassion.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Sometimes, it is difficult to let go of thoughts that makes us feel like we are not enough. When using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), we identify and question these unhelpful thought patterns that contribute to distress. Together, we explore how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected, and we challenge and restructure them to foster positive change. Through this process, clients gain tools to manage their challenges more effectively and develop healthier ways of thinking and coping.

Attachment-based

Attachment-Based Therapy focuses on helping you understand how early relationships shape the way you connect with others today. In our work together, we’ll explore past experiences and how they may influence your emotions, relationships, and sense of self. This supportive approach can help build deeper connections, strengthen trust, and foster a greater sense of security in your relationships.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness-Based Therapy helps you become more present and aware of your thoughts and emotions without judgment. In our sessions, we’ll use mindfulness techniques like breathing exercises and meditation to help you manage stress, anxiety, and overwhelming feelings. This approach can help you respond to life’s challenges with greater clarity, calmness, and self-compassion.

Positive Psychology

Positive Therapy focuses on building your strengths, resilience, and overall well-being rather than just addressing problems. In our sessions, we’ll explore what brings you joy, meaning, and fulfillment while developing tools to cultivate optimism and gratitude. This approach helps you shift your perspective, enhance personal growth, and create a more fulfilling and balanced life.
