Jessica Beil
Hello, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 10 years of clinical experience helping individuals navigate a wide range of mental health concerns. I have worked with people from diverse backgrounds and life experiences and strive to provide care that is inclusive, culturally responsive, and respectful of each person's unique identity, values, and perspective. I am committed to creating a supportive environment where you will feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful change.
First session
We will explore what brings you to therapy, discuss your current concerns, and identify the goals you'd like to accomplish. We can take the opportunity to create an approach tailored to your individual needs, strengths, and priorities. I'll also gather some information about you about history that will be helpful in our work, and answer any questions, you may have about the therapeutic process.
Strengths
I believe in an individualized, collaborative, and strengths-based approach, tailoring therapy to each person's unique needs, experiences, and goals. I have experience working with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, including Asian American communities, and value understanding how culture and identity shape each person's experience. I draw from different therapeutic frameworks and incorporate psychoeducation into my work to give people the tools o gain insight, build practical skills, and feel empowered to create meaningful change.
Ideal clients
My ideal client may be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or ready to make meaningful changes. I work with adults navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, stress, self-esteem, and difficulty managing emotions. I also welcome clients exploring identity, multicultural experiences, adoption, and how family or cultural backgrounds have shaped who they are. You may find yourself overthinking, repeating patterns that no longer serve you, struggling with boundaries, or putting others’ needs before your own.I enjoy working with people who are curious about themselves and open to exploring how their experiences, relationships, and patterns have shaped the way they think, feel, and respond today.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to recognize unhelpful thought and behavior patterns, understand how they impact your emotions, and develop practical coping and emotion-regulation skills to respond to challenges in healthier ways.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
ACT can help you navigate situations that you may not be able to change, manage difficult thoughts and emotions, and focus on what is within your control. Together, we identify what matters most to you and work toward choices that align with your values.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
IFS-informed strategies can help you understand the different “parts” of yourself, such as the parts that feel conflicted, critical, or protective, and assist you approach challenges with curiosity and compassion.
Somatic
I use mind-body techniques to explore how emotions and stress show up in the body, helping uncover deeper patterns and core beliefs that may be driving your reactions. We then build tools to help you feel more grounded, regulated, and connected to yourself.
