Justin Lee

LCSW, 3 years of experience

Hi! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) that is licensed in North Carolina. I graduated from the University of Southern California (fight on!) with my MSW and have been providing clinical psychotherapy for over 3 years. Currently, I spend the majority of my time providing care to active duty service members to ensure that they are being empowered to pursue the greatest versions of themselves and actively work towards living healthier lives.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, I would like to dedicate time to getting to know you in a holistic manner. We will then transition into identifying and further addressing your current challenges and how they have been impacting your life.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am committed to guiding you towards strategies and tools that are healthier and more effective in addressing the stressors in your life. My communication style is empathetic, nonjudgmental, and attentive. I wholeheartedly believe that trustworthy and genuine communication is one of the cornerstones for successful therapy treatment.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I believe that exploring therapy demonstrates your willingness to better understand yourself, your relationships, and the world around you. I am passionate about empowering people from all backgrounds through culturally sensitive treatment and being actively present throughout your enriching and powerful journey of healing and growth. As individuals face challenges that are unique to them, I engage them with a therapeutic approach that is both personalized and dynamic.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to empower clients to recognize when their thoughts and thinking patterns are working against them, rather than working for them. After guiding clients in identifying their targeted areas for growth, I collaboratively work alongside the clients to embrace and implement healthier behavior.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I lean on Solution Focused Therapy when I find that a client would benefit most from a future-oriented approach in which they are equipped with opportunities to expand their self-awareness, improve overall self-reliance, and ultimately focus on achieving solutions that will effectively address their current challenges.
