PMHNP, 2 years of experience
Being a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for 15 years, I am a seasoned nurse with experience in healthcare and a doctoral candidate for DNP. I am passionate about providing compassionate mental health care, supported by evidence, to meet the specific needs of the individual. My scope of practice is psychiatric medication management from childhood (ages 6+) to adulthood. I also treat ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and adjustment disorders. In a new atmosphere of collaboration, mutual respect, and shared knowledge, I bring together the client and myself to focus on emotional wellness and the enhancement of the client's quality of life.
In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions, then dive into specific challenges you're facing. This will enable me to create a tailored plan for us to work with.
ADHD ANXIETY BIPOLAR DISORDERS DEPRESSION OBSESSIVE-COMPULSIVE DISORDER POST-TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER ADJUSTMENT DISORDERS
I work best with individuals who are ready to take meaningful steps toward emotional wellness and personal growth. My ideal clients include children (6+), adolescents, and adults who are navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma, and life transitions. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, struggling to focus, or coping with past trauma, I provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space to explore your concerns and identify effective treatment options. I especially enjoy working with motivated individuals and families who value a collaborative approach to mental health and are open to integrating medication management into their care plan when appropriate.
