(she/her)
Hi there! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Virginia. I earned my Master’s degree from Fordham University and have spent the past three years supporting individuals through both inpatient and outpatient care. I’ve guided clients in both individual and group therapy settings, and I truly value creating a space where people feel seen, heard, and safe to explore whatever they’re facing. I especially enjoy working with young adults and adults navigating anxiety, depression, and life transitions. My goal is to help you build the tools and insight you need to feel more grounded, empowered, and fulfilled in your everyday life.
In our first session, we’ll start with a simple introduction and take some time to get to know each other. From there, we’ll talk through what’s been bringing you in—whatever feels most important to you right now. My goal is to really understand what you're navigating so we can start shaping a plan that feels supportive, realistic, and personalized to you. There’s no pressure to have it all figured out—just come as you are.
Having worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, I bring a well-rounded and flexible approach to therapy. I’ll help you identify areas of your life where you're feeling stuck or overwhelmed, explore what’s at the root of those struggles, and create a thoughtful, personalized roadmap toward your goals. I’m deeply empathetic, encouraging, and committed to creating a space where you feel supported and empowered. I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches—including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral strategies, mindfulness, and strengths-based work—depending on what feels most helpful for you. My goal is always to meet you where you are and help you reconnect with yourself in meaningful, lasting ways.
Do you find yourself caught in cycles of overthinking or perfectionism? Are you navigating a life transition or facing changes that feel overwhelming? Maybe you’ve started to question your worth or wonder if you’re ever “enough.” If any of this resonates, I’d love to support you. I specialize in working with adults who are struggling with perfectionism, self-doubt, and the stressors that affect not just their work and relationships—but their relationship with themselves. Whether you’re adjusting to a major life change, feeling stuck, or simply trying to reconnect with who you are, therapy can be a powerful space to begin that journey. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and grounded in helping you feel safe, empowered, and seen. One of the bravest things you can do is ask for help—and I would be honored to walk alongside you as you reclaim your voice and come home to yourself.
There are times when we struggle with unhelpful thoughts that can increase our anxiety and depressive symptoms. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is helpful in analyzing these thoughts and recognizing their impact on our mental health. In session we will work on understanding these thoughts, their impact on our emotions and behaviors, and learn to challenge them.
Dialectical Behavioral Therapy is a type of treatment that is skills based. It is helpful for individuals who struggle with intense emotions and distress. In session, we will learn skills to improve the way we communicate with others, set boundaries, regulate our emotions, endure distress, and stay present in our body.
I utilize a non-judgmental and empathetic approach to encourage an environment where my clients feel understood, accepted, and safe to discuss their thoughts and feelings. I believe that clients, based on their experiences, are the masters of their own lives and at time need help recognizing it.
I utilize a trauma informed approach to working with clients to reduce re-traumatization during our work together. This approach focuses on emotional and physical safety, choice, collaboration, trustworthiness, and empowerment.
I am an attachment based therapist which means that I am interested in how early attachment with caregivers impacts how we form emotional and physical relationships as adults. I believe it is an effective guide in conceptualizing adults and the many relationship types we form whether it be friends, working relationships, or romantic relationships.
