New to Grow
I have been providing therapy for over 15 years and earned my degree from Syracuse University. I live in the Buffalo area and truly enjoy meeting new people, hearing their stories, and learning how I can best support them. My approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered, meaning I meet each person where they are and help them identify goals that feel meaningful and realistic for their life.
Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a comfortable, supportive connection. I’ll ask some questions about your background, current situation, and what you hope to work toward in therapy, and you’ll have space to ask me any questions you may have about the process. There is no pressure to have everything figured out right away — the goal is to build rapport, help you feel comfortable, and make sure I’m a good fit for your needs.
What stands out about my therapeutic approach is my ability to build strong rapport and create a space where clients feel comfortable, supported, and understood. I use positive affirmations, practical problem-solving, and education around how thoughts, beliefs, and core values can influence feelings and behavior. My goal is to help clients feel more confident, gain insight, and develop realistic tools they can use in everyday life.
Other specialties
I identify as
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we work to identify unhelpful thought patterns, build healthier coping skills, and create realistic strategies for managing anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions. My approach is collaborative and practical, with a focus on helping clients feel more grounded, empowered, and confident in their daily lives.
Supportive
I use supportive therapy to provide a safe, compassionate space where clients can feel heard, understood, and validated. Through warmth, encouragement, and gentle guidance, I help clients process emotions, navigate stressors, and build on their existing strengths. My goal is to support clients in feeling less alone and more confident as they move through challenges.
