Born and raised in New York, I bring a down-to-earth, real-world approach to therapy. I believe you don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy, and you don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from support. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, navigating a major life change, or simply looking for a space to process and grow, I’m here to help. My style is warm, honest, and collaborative, and I work to create an environment where you can show up as your authentic self without fear of judgment.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s normal to feel a little nervous. Our first session is really about getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what’s been weighing on you, and what you’d like to get out of our work together. There is no pressure to have all the answers or share everything at once. My goal is to create a comfortable space where you feel heard, supported, and understood while we begin building a plan that feels right for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients often describe me as warm, relatable, and easy to talk to. I balance empathy with honesty, offering support while also helping clients challenge patterns that may be keeping them stuck. As a New Yorker, I bring a direct, down-to-earth style to therapy, but always with compassion and respect. I believe in meeting clients where they are, building on their strengths, and creating a space where they can show up authentically without fear of judgment. When appropriate, I also use humor because sometimes healing happens through laughter, too.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with people from all walks of life and truly enjoy getting to know each person's story. Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, family dynamics, or questions about who they are and where they're headed. Whether you're dealing with something big or just feeling stuck, therapy can be a space to sort things out, build new skills, and feel more like yourself again.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients identify patterns in their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that may be keeping them stuck. Together, we explore new ways of thinking and practical strategies that can reduce stress, improve mood, and support meaningful change in everyday life.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore their own reasons for change without judgment or pressure. This approach creates space for honest conversations, builds confidence, and helps clients move toward goals at a pace that feels right for them.

Humanistic

At the heart of my work is the belief that everyone has strengths and the capacity for growth. Using a humanistic approach, I provide a supportive and authentic space where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

“I believe effective therapy begins with understanding the whole person. I take a culturally sensitive approach that respects each client’s background, identity, and experiences, creating a space where they can show up authentically and feel supported without judgment.

Play Therapy

Children don’t always have the words to explain what they’re feeling. Through play-based interventions, I help children express emotions, develop coping skills, strengthen relationships, and build confidence in a way that feels natural and engaging to them.
