LISW, 11 years of experience
New to Grow
My name is Krystyna Noaks. I am someone who is passionate about helping people feel more understood, supported, and in control of their lives. I have over 10 years of experience supporting individuals through life’s challenges. I specialize in helping clients navigate issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship struggles, and life transitions. I draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Therapy to create a safe space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered. I’d love to connect and support you on your journey.
In your first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and talking about what brought you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your goals, concerns, and background so I can better understand your unique needs. Together, we’ll start to create a plan for therapy, and I’ll explain how I work so you know what to expect moving forward. My goal is to make you feel comfortable, heard, and supported from the very beginning.
What stands out about my approach is that I focus on making therapy both practical and supportive. I use evidence-based methods, like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, to help clients recognize patterns, build coping skills, and create meaningful change. Clients often share that they leave sessions with strategies they can immediately apply in their daily lives, along with a deeper sense of confidence and clarity.
I’m best positioned to serve clients who feel overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, or big life changes and are ready to work on building healthier coping skills. I also enjoy supporting people who want to better understand their emotions, improve relationships, and create lasting, positive change.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on the connection between our thoughts, feelings, and actions. Together, we’ll work on recognizing unhelpful thought patterns, understanding how they impact emotions and behaviors, and practicing new ways of thinking and coping. The goal is to give you practical tools you can use in everyday life to manage challenges and feel more in control.
I use a solution-focused approach by spending time talking about what's working and what you want your life to look like, rather than focusing only on the problems. We will look at strengths, past successes, and times when things have gone better, and use those to help you move toward your goals. Even small changes can make a big difference.
We may use an approach called Motivational Interviewing. It is a way of working together to help you explore your thoughts and feelings about change, without pressure or judgement. My role isn't to tell you what to do, but to help you find your own reasons and motivation for making changes that matter to you.
