In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you—your story, your experiences, and what’s bringing you to therapy. I’ll invite you to share as much or as little as feels comfortable, and we’ll move at a pace that feels safe and right for you. Together, we’ll clarify your goals for therapy and create a plan to help you move toward them.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental, and collaborative space where clients can openly explore their challenges and build insight and strategies to address them. Client safety and overall well-being are always my top priorities. I also believe that my clients already carry many strengths, and I enjoy helping them recognize and use those strengths to move towards their goals.

I am experienced in working with older adolescent and adult clients who struggle with Depression, Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive-Disorder (OCD), Grief, and Trauma. My ideal clients are those who feel lost, overwhelmed, or unsure of themselves and want support in facing life’s obstacles while also regaining confidence and clarity. I work well with clients who are open to self-reflection and are looking for a supportive environment to focus on their emotional wellbeing.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I offer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients developing insight into into how our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are interwoven. Making this connection can help us modify our thinking patterns, improving how we regulate emotions and respond behaviorally. Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I offer Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients accept life's challenges and take purposeful actions that align with what matters most to them. I support my clients in acknowledging life's discomforts, using ACT to make space for them while still living life to the fullest. If you are interested in ACT, we can work together to build resilience by learning to experience emotions in ways that feel healthy, helpful, and in line with your values!

Motivational Interviewing

I offer a Motivational Interviewing (MI) approach to help clients work through any uncertainty or ambivalence about making changes in their lives. Change can be challenging, so MI supports you in exploring what might be holding you back and discovering practical ways to take meaningful steps forward. Change doesn't happen perfectly or all at once. My role as your therapist is to meet you where you are and support you as you explore your thoughts, feelings, and goals towards making a change!

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I offer a Person-centered approach to hold a supportive and empathetic space for my clients, allowing them to fully explore their feelings, thoughts, and experiences. You hold the knowledge of your own life and my role as your therapist is to listen, offer support, and help you uncover the solutions that work for you.
