My hope is to be helpful in your journey towards taking care of your needs in whatever form that they show up. I have experience in this field building relationships with my clients that are focused on feeling safe talking to somebody that you can trust and addressing what needs to be addressed. Weil this may take some time depending on what you're going through. I firmly believe that you have the ability to get to where you would like to be. So let's go do that.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
We will do an intake session so that I can assess your needs and better understand what brings you into therapy. My hope is that I answer any questions that you may have and that you are able to answer any questions that I have so that we can start doing the necessary work that we have collaborated on a direction for.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I have experience and training that I believe can help you move towards relief. I want you to have the space to talk about your problems and I also want to send you away with tangible skills that you can use to address your needs in real time. I do not want to only validate your concerns in your feelings I want you to be challenged and to make a new pathway towards success in taking care of your mental health.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I have been trained in DBT therapy and I use the manual and resources to provide skilled development for clients
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have run CBT groups for years and have used the therapy model throughout my work with clients, hoping to help them develop skills in addressing problematic thought patterns, and behaviors
Cognitive Processing (CPT)
I am fully trained in the therapeutic model and have extensive experience working on this with civilian and a veteran populations
